Westcar hydraulic couplings

We sell couplings from the Italian manufacturer , which has more than 40 years of experience in the production of hydraulic couplings.

From a structural point of view, the hydraulic coupling transmits torque through two impellers (pump and turbine) which rotate each other using a special fluid, similar to a centrifugal clutch. This principle of force transmission has no mechanical contact or wear of the parts. However, the main advantage of this component is that the mechanisms connected via the hydraulic coupling are started gently and the rotational speed develops slowly and evenly.

Westcar manufactures a wide range of hydraulic motors, while the Rotofluid K, the largest model, is designed to work with up to 6,000 kW engines.
